Fourteen friends, fourteen rugs, one afternoon.
Looking for something to do with friends in Berlin that isn't another brunch or bar? At our studio in Prenzlauer Berg, everyone gets a tufting gun, picks their colours and makes their own fluffy rug. It's a hands-on art workshop for beginners, and everything is included.
Why it works with friends
- Everyone starts at the same level: nobody needs to be the creative one. After a short introduction and a few trial lines, everyone gets going.
- Busy hands, easy conversation: it's an afternoon of chatting, laughing and peeking at each other's rugs.
- You all take something home: a one-off rug for your wall or floor, made by you.
What's included in the price
- All yarn and materials: choose from more than 100 yarn colours. Send us your design and we trace it onto your frame before you arrive.
- Snacks and drinks: light snacks like sweets, chips and fruit, plus water, tea and coffee to keep the energy high.
- Preparation and finishing: after the workshop, every rug is hand shaved and trimmed with care, glued with natural latex and finished with premium felt.
Your rug is ready to collect in about 2 weeks. Only visiting Berlin? You can add express finishing (1 to 2 days) or shipping within Germany when you book.

How many friends can come?
Up to 16 people can tuft at our studio, each making their own rug. Coming as a pair or a small group? Book your places in the same workshop. For a bigger crew or a celebration, plan a private group event, and if you're more than 16, we can bring a pop-up tufting station to you.
Which size to choose
- The Mini (25 × 25 cm): 2.5 hours, 99 € per person
- The OG (40 × 30 cm): 3.5 hours, 140 € per person, our most popular size
- The Big One (50 × 50 cm): 5 hours, 200 € per person
- The 3D One (40 × 30 cm): 6 hours, 189 € per person, for rugs full of texture

Food and drinks afterwards
The Winsviertel around our studio is full of great restaurants and bars, so it's easy to head out together when the tufting guns go quiet. If you're hosting a private event, you can also order food to the studio.

Do we need any experience?
No. All our workshops are beginner friendly, and we're with you the whole time.
What's included?
All yarn and materials, light snacks and drinks, and the full finishing of your rug: hand shaved, trimmed, glued with natural latex and backed with premium felt.
Can we pick our own designs?
Yes. Send them at least 48 hours before. Need ideas? Try our 8 designs for your first rug.
What language are the workshops in?
English and German.
Is there an age limit?
Workshops are for ages 13 and up. Children aged 9 to 12 can join with an adult, by arrangement.
