Dinner, a film, one more drink: all lovely, but after a while you know how it goes. If you want a date you'll still be talking about later, try something neither of you has ever done.
Why tufting makes a good date
- You learn something new together: nobody needs to be good at it, which takes the pressure off straight away.
- You don't have to stare at each other: your hands are busy and the conversation just happens. On a first date, that's gold.
- You leave with something: a rug that reminds you of the day for a long time.
Which workshop fits?
The Mini is made for a classic evening date: 2.5 hours on a weekday evening, a small 25 × 25 cm rug, 99 € per person.
The OG suits a whole weekend afternoon: 3.5 hours, 40 × 30 cm, 140 € per person. It's a good one for anniversaries and birthdays too.
A design idea
You each make your own rug, but you can plan something that belongs together: two halves of one image, sun and moon, salt and pepper, or simply your initials. Or tuft something for each other and swap at the end. Simple shapes work best, and our design tips can help.
Afterwards
Our studio is in the Winsviertel, with some of Berlin's best bars and restaurants just a few steps away. So you won't have to plan the rest of the evening for long.
